Rain or Shine
The sun and rain have come and gone in turns.
Today falls the rain. The damp settles into my subconscious. She shivers. Wrap yourself in blankets and huddle together for warmth.
Post-lunch sleep sets in. Two more finals to go. The trick is to make it stick. Muster up the will and the want to. Finish as strong as she started.
Will I forever mill over the same struggles, no matter how many times they’ve been faced before? I suppose. Part of grace is forgiveness through those unlearned lessons and repeated offenses. Why can’t I just get it right this time. “Child, My grace does not depend on your conditions.”
